Increase Speed of Android Powered Devices and Phones

There is no doubt on how Google Android has become everyone's favorite operating system (OS). I installed Android on my desktop computer just to have fun. People now prefer the smart phones running Android only.

Since Android is open source, some developers are still armature and don't program with memory management properly and often include bloatwares in the very first version of their application. This makes the phone to slow down.

Here are some tips which can help you to increase the speed of your android phone. The tweaking basically depends on the memory management.

1) Taskiller app can be used to terminate the unwanted application running in the background eating much of the system resources.

2) Remove unwanted widgets and disable any widget which currently you are not using.

3) Decrease the number of icons on home screen, they also eat up the ram.

4) Overclock your phone but, be careful. Overclock a bit by bit before phone crashes, to reach to perfect clock speed.

5) Turn off GPS when not needed. Believe me turning of GPS will increase performance of your phone drastically. Say when you are home, you don't need GPS, right?

6) Keep updating the OS. The updates always come with bug fixes and improvements. Updating the OS will also increase your battery backup.

Have this improved the speed of your Android Phone? Do you have any other tricks to do this? share with us. Enjoy
