free airtel unlimited gprs pack wilthdrawal imageFrom November 9 Airtel withdraws the unlimited gprs service for it's customers. That was a shocking news for me.
I got a message in my inbox

from AY-Airtel

9-November se apka Unlimited internet pack band kar diya jayega. Ab aap Rs 10/din(pehele 3 MB free uske bad se 20paisa/kb)main gprs use kar sakte hain.

form 9th of November your unlimited internet pack will be withdrawn. Now you can use gprs in Rs 10/day (first 3 MB free then 20 paisa/kb) .
What will we do of this poor 3 mb? One side Airtel is providing free sms plans to allure people and another side withdraws the unlimited gprs. How they are treating people! The only way is to contact TRAI trai.gov.in.
Airtel has migrated the customers automatically form the unlimited plan to limited plan which violates the regulations of trai.gov.in (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India).
contact trai http://www.trai.gov.in/contactus.asp if you are the victim.
Airtel is definitely going to loose many customers and their faith. This will lead people to the doors of other Internet Service Providers(ISP).
How about BSNL's unlimited plane with it's USB modem! with high speed and bandwidth. So we should migrate to BSNL's broad band form Airtel's expensive dial up connection.

When everything in telecom is becoming cheaper why Airtel is creating this mess? Hope they'll soon realize it!

Yes, Airtel will realize when it finds people switching to other ISPs :(

I think the strong criticism worked and Airtel came up with a cheaper plan of Rs 95 per month.

But still, It has the capping of 100 mb download in day and 75 mb download in night.

That's around the same. They are luring people and trapping.

I hope they decrease the charges to make it affordable.

whereas internet is growing faster and increasing its bandwidth. It's not good to limit the downloads.

I've switched to Docomo and its working great on the mobile.
