Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board, (CGVYAPAM), Raipur declares the dates/schedule of CG PET, CG PMT and CG PAT.CG PET & CG PAT will be held on May 12, 2010. And CG PET is to be held on May 13, 2010.

CG AIEEE 2010 Counselling
The AIEEE counselling for chhattisgarh engineering colleges has started from july 10, 2010. It's only for the other state students. 10% seats are reserved for AIEEE seats which will only be filled by other state students.
AIEEE 2010 Online Counseling
Online AIEEE counselling 2010 will start from June 8, 2010. We will keep you updated about the process of counselling.
To participate in Online counselling visit http://www.ccb.nic.in/ and register. Fill up all the choices of NITs and other colleges along with branch you would like to choose. Then don't forget to lock it when you have finished the above process. The date of results of counselling will be announced soon.

The expected cut off 2010 will be same as the trend goes, seats of BIT durg are filled first as it's the top collage of Chhattisgarh.

@Abhishek it's irony of government sites that they always have problems, you have only option to add. 15ooo candidates will suffer from "cgvyapam not opening"

hii i am adarsh my rank is 1620 .u r telling dat 4 BIT u must hve atleast 1500 rank .my rank is 1620 .and i hve seen the cutoff of previous year of CS branch in BIT durg is 114-3974 .acc to this cutoff i can get admission in BIT . but acc to u i can't get .plzzz clear whu is correct u or dat cutoff list . and if i am not getting CS branch which Branch i can get in BIT .. thnxx
@Adarsh #1500 is on average, but you can get admissing in BIT DURG, with cse branch. I also have got to see cutoff of 2008. Wellcome to my branch :D

I would recommend Shakhara 2, because studies as well as fees is better than Rungta.

oh you can't get ET&T in sankaracharya 1&2, but in all rungta and csit(recommended).

You will get Civil, CS, EEE, Electrical Elex& Inst, IT in SSCET Bhilai, and CS, ET&T, IT, Mech in SSEC Bhilai.

except ET&T and Mech you will get all branches in BIT durg.

For mech you must have rank below 500 approx. (so see once your rank) However Management quota is there. The Fees of MQ in bit is about 4.5 lacks to 5 lacks.

A bit harder to get in DIMAT :( but since seats have been increased in many colleges, you can get DIMAT perhaps CSIT also :)
and in GDRCET Bhilai, RCET Bhilai, RCET Raipur, RSR RCET Raipur,

No you can't get GEC bilaspur, but CSIT Durg(recommended), MPCCET Bhilai, and rungta are best for you.

I don't know it's fortuately or un/ at low rank even you can get good colleges wih cs branch like CSIT Durg, and other CIT Raipur/Rjn, DIMAT raipur, DSCET Durg, Rungta, YITM Rjn.

@Swati the future of IT is in web technologies, cloud computing (SaaS, PaaS etc), Online Services, Networks, GSM, Mobiles, Satellite communication and a lot more, but it requires you to be efficient, good(best) programming skills since the competition is very high.
