How to get updates if there is no RSS feed on a webpage?

Search giant Google recently launched a new feature for webmasters on Google Reader. Who don't have RSS feeds on their web pages will be benefited by this. With this feature, the readers will be able to keep in touch with an update on the web page.

update on 2018: Google Reader has been discontinued.
1) Simply go to Google Reader
2) Click on add a subscription link
add the URL of the website or webpage

That's all. Google Bot will seek for any little update on the page.
You will also see the latest updates in the snippet of SERP because we know the search has gone live. Webmasters are also allowed to opt out of this feature if they are more conscious about the bandwidth of their websites.

This will help many newbies and webmasters who can't make their site feeds. What do you say?
