I don't want to pay ransom - WannaCry

What if you lost access to all your files?  What to do if a ransomware is making you cry? Wanncry ransomware is fastest growing malware right now. It has affected over 20000 computers from over 150 countries. India is one of the hardest hit countries by the attack.

Rumor has it that North Korea was behind the ransomware and it worked far better than their missiles.  Sadly just after the discovery of the kill switch of Wannacrypt0r, the new version of it was launched without a kill switch.

Will somebody come for help?  Can some body stop this?
Many security companies are working to build decryption tools for wcry files now.

One such initiative is NO MORE RANSOM by Kaspersky, Intel Security, the National High Tech Crime Unit of the Netherlands’ police and Europol’s European Cybercrime Centre. The goal of initiative is to educate people about prevention of ransomware attacks and help them unlock their files without paying an ransom to the hacker groups.

They have already decrypted these ransomware files in the past:

They are now working to decrypt WannaCry files as well. You need to upload two WannaCry infected/encrypted files on their website along with some information.

If a decryption solution is available they will provide you a download link. If the solution is not available you will have to wait for some time before we publish a list of safe and successful decryption tools

Access NO MORE RANSOM  from here

Kaspersky also developed an antiransomware tool which is available for free. Its a stand alone tool and it works even without the Kaspersky Anti Virus software.
